Shock As State Official Stops Central Governor From Printing BBI Report

President Uhuru Kenyatta reads BBI report in statehouse

Until last Friday, senior politicians among them Governors, Senators and MPs who have been attending all BBI validation meetings led by Raila Odinga thought that lack of finances was the key reason why the BBI reports have not been printed and distributed to be read in all meetings.

This was revealed after a Central Kenya Governor who was planning to print and supply the copies to a youth forum was stopped and warned against doing such, by a senior State officer running errands of the deep state.

After the powerful State officer got the wind, he sent a series of phone calls questioning the governor whether he had seen a single copy of the report in the BBI nationwide meetings.

” Which BBI report do you want to print, have you ever seen any copy in all the meetings you have attended?” the Governor was asked.

It is said that, following the incident, all pro- Handshake leaders have been asked to just support the move orally and wait for official report with all proposals to be released.

According, to a political analyst interviewed by County Post, it is now clear that the agenda of BBI is known to a few people in this country.

He added that, the preliminary report launched at Bomas of Kenya by President Uhuru was meant for public relations (PR) but has no key proposals citing the highly coveted post of premiership being rooted for by the dynasties.

During the launch of the report at the Bomas,. President Uhuru ordered that the copies be availed to all Kenyans to read before giving input but the directive was never implemented.

Consequently, the Deputy President William Ruto has been agitating for disbursement of the copies to Kenyans so that they understand it’s content before giving final views.

Apparently, all BBI politics have been paused to allow send-off the late President Daniel Moi who will be laid to rest on Wednesday in his Kabarak home.
